In 2019, my partner and I crossed the "Camino de Santiago" route, covering nearly 900 kilometers over the course of 40 days. On average, we walked 25 kilometers a day, testing the limits of our bodies and minds.
It was a life-changing experience - full of physical pain, countless blisters, and daily challenges. However, beyond the fatigue, on this journey, we came closer to our own being as the long hours of walking gave us a lot of time with ourselves. We met many people, each with a personal, beautiful story. We slept in albergues that were hundreds of years old, some of which used to be churches that were turned into hostels for pilgrims. We discovered and experienced the scenery of northern Spain.
